About
Neil is a silkscreen artist working out of his home studio in Holmfirth and the West Yorkshire Print Workshop. Using a spontaneous, process led style, he creates small edition unique and playful prints.
Several years spent working in the printed textile industry sparked a passion for colour and an interest in exploring printing techniques. Neil studied screen printing at Toi Pōneke, Wellington, while spending time in New Zealand.
His printing style comes out of his love of photography and colour blending. Images are deconstructed, then reinterpreted in an intuitive loose manner. Bold colour blocking combined with delicate textures create unorthodox and experimental prints.
